Starting at age 2 through age 5

Our Marley Park location features two dedicated classrooms: the Cubs room for children ages 2-3 and the Bears room for ages 4-5. Both programs utilize an MSDE-approved curriculum to support early development.

We are pleased to welcome children from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note we are closed on all major holidays.

Joy in Learning proudly accepts CCS Scholarships and Child Care Aware to help families access quality care.

We use the Experience Curriculum for our Cubs (ages 2-3) and the Frog Street MSDE-certified Pre-K program for our Bears (ages 4-5) to ensure a robust educational foundation.

A typical day consists of the following:

- Open play

- Circle time

- Snack time (twice in a day)

- Outside play (twice in a day)

- Arts & Crafts 

- Lunch

- Naptime

Parents should provide a daily lunch, a change of clothes, and bedding (fitted sheet and blanket) for naptime. Diapers must be provided for children who are not yet potty trained.

Our educators are certified specialists for their respective age groups and are all CPR and First Aid certified. Our team also completes annual professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.

We take allergy management very seriously. Please be advised that we are currently not a peanut-free program.

We utilize Brightwheel, a specialized app for day-to-day updates, billing, and our monthly newsletter, ensuring you stay connected with your child’s experience.
